Hello! Thank you for visiting our website!

We are a family of five; Richard & Beca, and our three children; Oliver (8), Osten (6) and Heidi (4).  We live in the East Sussex village of Robertsbridge, and are the proud owners of Column Wood.

During lock down, and on our daily mandated walks, we would often pass what is now called Column Wood and think what a beautiful part of the countryside and woodland it was.  We were thrilled to see it come up for sale, and after putting in an offer (and an agonising wait), we became the owners.

​

In total there are 7 acres, of mixed agricultural land and woodland. We are very passionate about maintaining and conserving the woodland, and have plans for improving the forest quality.

​

Over the years we have developed our glamping and camping offering, and introduced some lovely little pods, made in the UK by a family run business. ​

We also host supper clubs in the woods, in collaboration with a private chef.  

​

We are incredibly passionate about providing educational opportunities for children and young people, so they can learn about nature, woodlands and conservation.  An 'outstanding' rated Ofsted Forest School has come for visits, and we are looking forward to regular forest school sessions coming soon.
